      Current state of vpsBoard   02/04/2017

      Dear vpsBoard members and guests:

Over the last year or two vpsBoard activity and traffic has dwindled. I have had a change of career and interests, and as such am no longer an active member of the web hosting industry.

Due to time constraints and new interests I no longer wish to continue to maintain vpsBoard. The web site will remain only as an archive to preserve and showcase some of the great material, guides, and industry news that has been generated by members, some of which I remain in contact to this very day and now regard as personal friends.

I want to thank all of our members who helped make vpsBoard the fastest growing industry forum. In it's prime it was an active and ripe source of activity, news, guides and just general off-topic banter and fun.

I wish all members and guests the very best, whether it be with your business or your personal projects.

Hide-and-seek with my houseplants. Stealing mannequens from Sears and holding group therapy in my living room. Making parachutes out of bedsheets and jumping off curbs. Loosening the cap on the salt shaker. Running amok.
  1. is vpsboard dead?

How's the prison guard life going for ya, anyhow? It it really like what we see on shows like "Lockup"? It just seems like everyone's been busy the past four months or so... I certainly have... just not enough hours in the day. Don't think I've been to WHT in about six months...ish. Eventually I'll get caught up. :P
  2. Aww party foul -- stale thread & I fell for it. Oh well, maybe this'll help someone down the line... there's also: # iptables inside CT IPTABLES="ip_tables ipt_recent iptable_mangle iptable_filter ipt_limit ipt_multiport ipt_tos ipt_TOS ipt_REJECT ipt_REDIRECT ipt_TCPMSS ipt_tcpmss ipt_ttl ipt_LOG ipt_length ip_conntrack ip_conntrack_ftp ip_conntrack_irc ipt_conntrack ipt_state ipt_helper iptable_nat ip_nat_ftp ipt_owner ipt_state"

  9. My wife carries it with her in a pink thing... I guess it's like a pepper spray cozy or something. She also carries a flashlight about the same size. Also f**king pink. I give her *headdesk* points for that one every now and then... and I never use those keys. Especially in the dark. I don't wanna die.
  10. Seems legit.

  12. Let's pretend that through some miracle of science that what you said is actually true. https://xetech.org/ ---- You could have at least picked up a $10 DV SSL if you're gonna be a poser. ...oops. Reported to WHMCS. I've spent too many years actually working in this industry to watch another kid stroll in with an E5620 and some bullshit to push on the cheap like it's a new idea...thx4plyin'
