    cPanel Supports LiteSpeed Web Server

Basically, we recognize that we can't go around checking peoples' dog houses to make sure they didn't use their LSWS hammers to build dog houses for their chihuahuas. (Don't build a dog house for your chihuahua. A chihuahua is not a dog. Or, at least, it's not a real dog.) That would just be...

    Freaking planet. Stupid sun.

    cPanel Supports LiteSpeed Web Server

I really, really don't want to get into a discussion of whether our terms of service limit free speech. (The position of the programmers is that internet pornography is inadequately policed and thus easily available to minors — which is technically illegal in the US.) For all intents and...

    cPanel Supports LiteSpeed Web Server

They do not. OpenLiteSpeed is not really meant for use with cPanel, since it doesn't read Apache configs. m

    cPanel Supports LiteSpeed Web Server

That would be great. We'd be happy to put them on the blog/forum/wiki if you get them up. Cheers, Michael

    cPanel Supports LiteSpeed Web Server

Thanks! We've always had a pretty devoted user base, but it's been increasing quite a bit recently. Get in touch if you have any questions. I'm happy to answer questions in a forum thread. Cheers, Michael

    cPanel Supports LiteSpeed Web Server

Howdy, I haven't been around that much recently. I'm kind of in and out. Nice to meet you. We like the installation videos you put on YouTube. Cheers, Michael

    cPanel Supports LiteSpeed Web Server

Howdy all,   Actually, it's been happening for almost a month now, but cPanel and LiteSpeed have announced yesterday that cPanel is officially supporting LSWS-cPanel users through their ticket system.   It's all explained here...

LiteSpeed vs. OpenLiteSpeed vs. nginx vs. Apache 2.2 vs. Apache 2.4!

You're absolutely right. The graphs posted in the thread show resource consumption. Also, you might like our case studies. We just released two, both showing load and memory usage on real sites before and after switching to LiteSpeed. They definitely support the graphs posted on this thread...

LiteSpeed vs. OpenLiteSpeed vs. nginx vs. Apache 2.2 vs. Apache 2.4!

Just reposting the feedback I left you on your blog: Howdy Kapil,  Thanks for bringing this up again on vpsBoard. I had forgotten to respond. I believe you are reading your table incorrectly. Your table seems to be a representation of the spread of the times requests took, i.e. this data...

LiteSpeed vs. OpenLiteSpeed vs. nginx vs. Apache 2.2 vs. Apache 2.4!

Come to the dark side, MannDude. Coooome to the daaaark side. We have free chocolate, Cheez-Doodles, coconut water. (Not joking.)

LiteSpeed vs. OpenLiteSpeed vs. nginx vs. Apache 2.2 vs. Apache 2.4!

OK. Looking a little back in the thread. I definitely understand this request. They are coming (but they take lots and lots of time to make).

Looking for a Full-Time, On-Site Linux SysAdmin (LiteSpeed Technologies)

Looking for a sysadmin for our core team to provide technical support to LiteSpeed users. (Linux/Unix, Apache, cPanel experience required. Web hosting experience preferred.)   LiteSpeed Technologies is looking for a flexible, motivated sysadmin with experience and interest in web hosting and...

LiteSpeed vs. OpenLiteSpeed vs. nginx vs. Apache 2.2 vs. Apache 2.4!

Howdy Splitice, I think your absolutely right to be concerned that the Apache was configured incorrectly. However, if I'm a VPS provider and somebody comes to me with a spaghetti VPS mess and I have two options — install LSWS or try to untangle their mess and maybe improve things somewhat — I...

LiteSpeed vs. OpenLiteSpeed vs. nginx vs. Apache 2.2 vs. Apache 2.4!

I have certainly heard this point of view before, and, if that's your view, so be it. We still think there's a market for a product that runs as fast as, if not faster than, nginx, but has some level of .htaccess compatibility and an easy-to-use GUI. m

LiteSpeed vs. OpenLiteSpeed vs. nginx vs. Apache 2.2 vs. Apache 2.4!

Sorry, but I don't think this is going to happen. Yes, I know vpsBoard is running lighttpd, but they're just not a big enough competitor. I mean, people earlier in the thread thought they were dead. Configuring the web servers is the biggest time suck in these benchmarks and I don't think it...

LiteSpeed vs. OpenLiteSpeed vs. nginx vs. Apache 2.2 vs. Apache 2.4!

I'm really not sure about this. I mean, there are plenty of big enterprises running free software. Wait, what am I saying? I mean, Yeah! They should all run LSWS Enterprise!

LiteSpeed vs. OpenLiteSpeed vs. nginx vs. Apache 2.2 vs. Apache 2.4!

Oh, man. This is what I get for being busy. Just going through the thread now. Feel free to think I'm an idiot if I repeat somethign that's already been said. We're debating some sort of .htaccess compatibility for OpenLiteSpeed. It's still a little far away, but we're eyeing. It's wouldn't be...
