Just a friendly reminder to keep discussion in this thread related to the offer at hand. Like any other offer, non-serious comments or inquires will be hidden. ;)

Y'all behave.

What is this Intel Atom C2750?

Does it support virtualization (OpenVZ, Xen, KVM)?

Seems like an oddly beefy Atom server...  not too much off price point of the house special E3 which is a proven mediocre staple at CC.

Yes it does. ColoCrossing launched a line of Atom C2750s and all the CC hosts are offering it.

Can you support openbsd 5.4/5.5 on one of the Atoms
I'm pretty sure we can but I'll double check with Ernie tomorrow morning.

HaitiBrother and I had a very brief informative chat about C2750's the other day on )

The C2750 is built for low end virtualization in data centers, it seems.  It is about half as fast as an E3 but uses 1/4 of the power, so it's an efficiency win if you're not hurting for CPU cycles.  It is probably comparable to an L5420 or so in raw speed, and it has some newer extensions like AES-NI.

Albeit CC that is a pretty decent offer on the Atom.

I'm asking an honest question, and expect the same courtesy in the answer.  Do you own the IP space?  A simple 'yes' or 'no' will suffice.
