How to configure my new server

I just picked up a server with 4 128gb ssd's. What do you all suggest I configure these drives in? Raid type etc. I believe it will be mostly software raid.

This server is for a web app I'm working on that is mostly data storage related.

Depends how much you care about the data.

If you want redundancy and decent performance I'd suggest RAID10 personally.

I would do hardware Raid 10 personally, granted Raid 5 can also work if you need more space.

Data retention is important . We'll have offsite backup but having something redundant on our web server is ideal.

RAID 5 will kill those SSDs.

Raid5 live on the edge! Well probably you dont want to, it wears the cells pretty badly.

I would also be worried about all the drives failing at the same time, if they are all the same age and under the same load.
