Too true, it's going to take a complete re-write to fix all their sloppy coding, or at the very least an external audit. cPanel are not much better right enough however they don't seem to make as rookie mistakes as WHMCS

Internally we use munin and mrtg, externally we use newrellic and pingdom which suits us down to a tee.

We currently run with OpenVZ and KVM nodes, not really interested in branching out to XEN at this stage, the KVM ones have been really popular, with OpenVZ being slightly more popular to the average user due to cost, minus the ability to have your own kernel ofcourse.
