My important sites are on a vps, then I have a backup vps at another datacenter that is an exact copy.  If one goes down I just have to change the IP numbers of the nameserver at my registrar and then everything goes to the backup vps.  My sites don't use many databases except for counters,  so...

OpenVZ web panel is great.  I just wish it did KVM or XEN also.  Proxmox can do Openvz and KVM,  plus it has a bare metal installer iso that is very easy to install with KVM o IP. 

If you do make some templates please let me know.  I am making a site with links to free templates.  http://freevpstemplates.com/blog/ It is still under construction in my spare time. 

I dunno if I would want a rack of servers in my house.  It would be fun,  but all my money would go into upgrading hardware.

Webmin is the only panel I've ever used.

They are trying to limit my Comcast plan to something like 250 or 300 gb a month. I always go over and that is just with Netflix, gaming and regular surfing.  77 TB is a lot,  how many movies can you even watch a month?

I figured out KVM over IP.  I installed Proxmox on my server, didn't like it and partitioned the hard drive and installed Centos 6 and OpenVZ Web Panel. 

Point me in the right direction, how would I partition and reinstall an OS with KVM over IP?  Do you know of a tutorial anywhere?  People hate on OVH all the time,  but I love the way you can easily partition and reinstall another OS with their automated system.  I wiped a hard drive there 3...

Is there a way to repartition the hard drive with KVMoIP?

Does this method strip out the ip numbers from the template?

I've found that most control panels let you create templates.  I know HyperVM, OpenVZ Web Panel and Solus all let you make templates.

I have 2 boxes at Wholesaleinternet and 1 at Quickpacket.  Both have been great,  but I have only been at both for less than a month.  I had a box at Corenetworks.com for years and never had to open a ticket except to get a few IP numbers.
