What operating system are you using? If your a provider, I highly recommend making images of IPv6 already enabled as it makes it much easier for end users in the end and results in less support tickets for you. After all, IPv6 can be tricky for the inexperienced!

What I want to try and do is setup WHMCS to create an IPv6 only container. How is that done by automation?
What VPS control panel software are you using? SolusVM? Virtualizor? There should be a place in the module area for the package where you can indicate how many IPv6 addresses to provision. That's the case in Virtualizor at least. It's also important that the operating systems you have installed are IPv6 ready and are designed to auto provision with IPv6 otherwise you will need to edit them manually.

Judging by the OP's ability to disregard the "provider or client question", I can see a successful career in politics for this individual.

I use this CMD:

vzctl set Your-vps-id --ipadd The-ipv6-you-want-to-add --save

This should help you as long as you have the block allocated.
