PayPal Problems Today

Haven't seen this posted anywhere else, but we've experienced this when paying merchants (tried from 2 different accounts), and some of our clients have mentioned the same thing to us.

We've been getting this error with PayPal:

"An error occurred while processing your request. Before submitting this again, log in and check your Account History to ensure that the transaction didn't complete."

I talked to the billing at one of our vendors and they were having the same issue:

I am very sorry about this issue and we apologize for the inconvenience. Other clients have brought up this issue as well. We are contacting PayPal to get this problem resolved. In the meantime, you can try making a credit card payment instead, if you would like. You can change your invoice to credit card and make a cc payment. Then once the issue is resolved you can continue to use PayPal.

Yeppers I can confirm this is going on in another shop.  Has been for past 48 hours.

Hello,

   This issue is common in Paypal now a days,  occurs on time to time bases depending on the country they are doing maintenance. Just leave for few hours or couple of day`s. You will be able to proceed with transactions later.

Last time clearing cookies and logging back in resolved the identical issue for me. That was their offered resolution on the same error message, didn't bothered to investigate root cause.

It might be something else though if many Customers of one merchant had the same issue at the time.

I did not across such issue but as Dom said, maybe you can try clearing the cookies and logging in again until the merchant fixes the issue or have other solution.

Been having the same random issues myself.. Mainly when trying to checkout on eBay.
