BIOS passwords can be reset quite easily, usually there is a jumper on the mother board, or simply draining the power from the system will do.

Wordpress has actually very little exploits, the plugins on the other hand is another story. Wordpress is used, and if you know how to run it properly it is modern, fast, and secure. You can try ghost if you like, but it is heavier, slower, and less secure then wordpress. https://ghost.org/
