    Looking for a VPN guru.

I can setup the VPN servers (I have 6 PPTP and OpenVPN servers online already and redundant RADIUS authentication servers also).

    Looking for a VPN guru.

With our recent expansion, we are looking to start offering a VPN service again but we'd like somebody experienced to head up this venture. At this time we're not 100% on the details of how we want to do this so we're extremely flexible if you have some ideas or goals. We do have the hardware...

No more free accounts from DynDNS

I stopped using DynDNS when my NAS started offering it's own free service: https://myds.synology.com/

If a hacker sees the captcha then you have failed at security.

Budget Dedi requirement >4GB RAM, Supports Virtualization

    It does look like they have a /32 of IPv6 from ARIN but the traceroute shows HE's tunnelbroker: 2 16 ms 19 ms 19 ms Yomura-1.tunnel.tserv16.mia1.ipv6.he.net [2001:470:10:5::1] 3 27 ms 24 ms 24 ms ge2-7.core1.mia1.he.net [2001:470:0:a1::1]

Budget Dedi requirement >4GB RAM, Supports Virtualization

Traceroutes over IPv6 show an HE Tunnel broker rDNS record and route through HE's Miami tunnel broker location. I primarily use IPv6 at home so I can't deal with the routing from Colorado to Florida to Georgia and back.

Budget Dedi requirement >4GB RAM, Supports Virtualization

Just got around to running the network benchmark for my DelimiterVPS dedicated before it gets cancelled (I found out they didn't have native IPv6 and the HE tunnelbroker setup was causing a large amount of latency for IPv6). System uptime : 67 days, 5:10, Download speed from CacheFly...

Looking for private 1/4 rack colo for a few backup servers in the U.S.

Lenoir, NC their bandwidth blend is Cogent, nLayer, TeliaSonera, and HE so it's not the best but for the price it's excellent. For some reason they only have HE for IPv6 but it's better than nothing. :)

Looking for private 1/4 rack colo for a few backup servers in the U.S.

Dacentec would be my suggestion. I have a dedicated with them and like their network and support. 9U 10 Amps @ 120v 20TB or 100Mbps unmetered on a 1Gbps port ($1/Mbps after that) /27 IPv4 (/64 of IPv6 upon request) Remote reboot $250/month

    Captcha for your ssh login

The only benefit this can add to a server is to prevent brute force attacks. An easier, less hassle method is to change your SSH port to something other than 22 which will reduce bruteforce attacks by 99.9999% as long as you don't post your SSH port publicly somewhere. For the other 0.0001% of...

    Work form home? Simple enough

Yes, we have millions of dollars worth of firewalls but we use NAT so that the workstation IPs are NOT publicly accessible.

    Work form home? Simple enough

Well the NAT is for security but why they aren't using private IPs for workstations is beyond me. I guess when you have more IPs than you will ever need you might as well use them.

    Can't Stop/Start/Remove a VPS

You can kill it from the host node, no need to login to the VPS to kill VPS processes with OpenVZ.

    Work form home? Simple enough

Correct. They plan on rolling our IPv6 here eventually but we have so many IPv4 addresses that we give each workstation an IP from the /16 we have AND we use NAT on the firewalls so those IPs are only accessible inside our own network. In reality we have less than 1000 servers that are...

    WHT Gold? OMG...

Last year they had their "admin forums" viewable by everybody with a bunch of threads that included your username in the subject to make it look like all of the mods are talking about you.

    Work form home? Simple enough

I worked from home for about 2 hours tonight and I couldn't wait to drive into work. It's so relaxing here and I'm 100% more productive, I just wish they had IPv6.

    Control Panels

I didn't even think of it like that but that's a good example also. LoL. I was talking mostly about my (lack of) coding skills where I still need to use Google to understand how arrays work and get basic Javascript pop-ups (I also learned how to use MySQLi while coding Wyvern which was new to...
