ARIN Stock Changes Feb 2014 - Down to 1.38

ARIN was doing a deal until recently where if you returned space you would get your fees reduced.  Not sure if the other RIRs did this as well, but I'm sure that led to some space being returned.

ARIN Stock Changes Feb 2014 - Down to 1.38

I'd also be interested if there is somewhere publicly that shows what IANA is holding in their returned pool.  I wonder how much (if anything) they have coming in.

PayPal USA Policy Changes Announced 4/30: Intangible Items Covered Starting 7/1

I question whether PayPal's customer service is sophisticated enough to make sense of situations like that, but I guess we'll see soon enough.

PayPal USA Policy Changes Announced 4/30: Intangible Items Covered Starting 7/1

This sounds like it could be a big hassle for providers.  If a customer signs up for service and has buyers remorse, they can now dispute it and potentially get their money back even if there are no grounds for a refund. For instance, I've had a customer who signed up and said that because they...

    Best Mail Client

I know this isn't multi-platform and I'm not sure if it supports offline features, but check out eM Client for Windows.  I tried it out for a few weeks and was generally pretty happy with it, but ultimately decided to stay with Outlook.

I know of several companies who have used them in the past and did not have any issues.

    Equipment Insurance

You may want to call and talk to someone there and explain what kind of business you are involved in.  They probably aren't communicating that properly to the underwriter.

You need to explain to them that you aren't the one hosting the adult content, that it would be on servers rented to your end customers.

**** QuickPacket™ - Now in Los Angeles! Up to 12 Cores! Servers from $39.99/mo! ****

Not trying to dodge the question.  Just trying to explain that each upgrade situation is unique and requires a custom quote, which is one of the reasons why we said from the beginning to contact sales for a quote.

    Equipment Insurance

TechInsurance understands what you mean when you say co-location (compared to the blank stares I received when I talked to a few other insurance agents) and can help you build a policy that includes coverage for equipment that is co-located.

**** QuickPacket™ - Now in Los Angeles! Up to 12 Cores! Servers from $39.99/mo! ****

You're asking to pin us down for a vague hypothetical scenario on an unknown server configuration at some point in the future (could be 5 hours from now or 5 years from now).  There are a lot of variables that we can't predict.  Costs may vary depending on the specific hardware upgrade(s)...

Time Warner Cable Support Outsourced to Foreign Countries?

AT&T is doing GigaPower in that area too, plus RST has done some work too (although it sounds like they might be running into some funding issues). Lots of fiber initiatives going on in North Carolina.
