Power wasn't ever out... but the AC was.

It's likely that something happened related to the high temperatures in the data center during the maintenance.  Temperatures spiked in our cabinet for over 3 hours. Yes, our Las Vegas gear is in the Fiberhub data center.

It's been well documented that WD and HGST send back crappy replacement drives here in the US.  It might be different in other countries.

Many providers use a gateway with a vault system (for instance, we use Quantum Vault, but there are others) so the credit card number never touches WHMCS.  It uses a token to automatically charge the card in the future if the user chooses to leave it on file for automated charging.
