Preferred Payment Method other than Credit Card and Paypal?

BitPay is an interesting way to accept BitCoin.  They immediately convert to USD and send the money to your bank account.

Who is going to disappear first - Burst.net/DigiPlus vs. volumeDrive

I believe they are co-located with Colo@.  The move announcement was made some time ago.  Colo@ is co-located with FortressITX/Dedicatednow/Pwebtech, who is moving from Telx in Clifton to I think Digital Realty Trust in Weehawken.

Who is going to disappear first - Burst.net/DigiPlus vs. volumeDrive

The case is Data Sales (leasing company) vs VolumeDrive.

Who is going to disappear first - Burst.net/DigiPlus vs. volumeDrive

From what I could tell the last time I logged in, there won't be much news until the trial starts, which is scheduled to start in the summer (I want to say June/July, but I could be wrong, it's been a while since I looked).

    Burst.net Continues their Implosion!

I saw that they currently have Level3 in their mix, and Level3 is on net at DC74, so perhaps they'll have Level3 and Cogent.

    Burst.net Continues their Implosion!

I just priced some out within the past month for Charlotte, so I am aware of where they are now.  They are much cheaper elsewhere.

    Burst.net Continues their Implosion!

The cheapest providers on net at DC74 are Cogent and XO.  Cogent is cheap there just like everywhere else, but XO is nearly 2x more expensive there than Atlanta. The other providers on net at DC74 are probably out of Burst's price range, but I could be wrong.

Fiber backhauls are still pretty pricey in NC compared to some more competitive markets.

    Burst.net Continues their Implosion!

Power is inexpensive in Charlotte relative to other areas, which I'm sure is driving part of the reason to move.

    Burst.net Continues their Implosion!

It appears that their new CEO owns a winery in North Carolina.  I wonder if that's why he wants to move the data center?

There are actually quite a few, but they don't really advertise to the LET/WHT world.

FYI - it appears that your configuration options require the purchase of a second hard drive.  Not sure if that is intentional or not.

    Failure rate on harddrives

Oh, two others I'll mention in the SSD department - Samsung was very good with a bad 840 Pro that we had.  After receiving the bad SSD, they shipped out a new one the same day by overnight shipping.   Kingston took a long time to ship out a replacement SSD after receiving the bad one, but they...

    Failure rate on harddrives

For the most part, the drive failure rates between manufacturers are equal over time.  Every manufacturer has a bad model, bad batch, bad firmware, or something else along the way. In terms of RMA, we've found that Seagate is the easiest to get replacement drives from.  They consistently send...

    Damn... SquareTrade fine print

This is pretty standard for add-on warranties not purchased through the manufacturer.
