    Potential employer not mailing back

Like others have mentioned, ping them back but keep it succinct and professional. Above all else, chuck out all that negative stalking / I lowered my ask price why don't you bite thinking because it does you absolutely no good and usually is entirely disjointed from what's actually happening in...

Okay, I fell for the link bait. Is it April already?

    No Disparagement Clauses

I'd put up a public list of anyone with such a clause if it ever came down to it.

Tunneling traffic through VPS versus VPN service

I've kinda flipped flopped on the issue.  I appreciate the multiple endpoints of a VPN service but at the same time, have my own fallback in case SHTF.  But I haven't come across any blacklists - mind you I don't order stuff from a public shared VPN.

    Backup VPS

Kinda comparing different things though. Google drive is priced the way it is thanks to compression and dedup. Their actual IaaS line (cloud storage) with an actual SLA runs much higher which is what the OP is competing against IMHO.

    Backup VPS

Just for the sake of perspective, that same 50GB runs at under $4 at AWS S3.  It's kinda of a no-brainer on which one I'd choose.

Running haveged to enhance your system entropy

It does.  But only within KVM and other full virtualization environments.   (sorry, VE in the previous context was OpenVZ VE)  edit: oh, I get what you mean now.  Ya, he left it unsaid.

Running haveged to enhance your system entropy

You shouldn't be able to feed /dev/random from within a container.  Haveged, TimerEntropy nor any other generator won't run in a guest VE.  Well, they'd run, but won't be able to set anything :P

RamNode looking for a new panel

Probably goes without saying... but a lot of these pieces are part of OpenStack.  Ceiliometer provides billing metering.  Ovz drivers for Nova.  The only part that makes me cry is WHMCS integration, but ModulesGarden is tackling that.   It'd be nice if these components get one more test user ;)

RamNode looking for a new panel

On the plus side at least, it's a nicely detailed RFP.  I wish most clients would go through the trouble to do that properly like this.  :)
