List of VPS/Dedi providers using Colo Crossing

Making a list of providers using a datacenter, is now approximating the evilness of hiring a serial killer? It's interesting to see how worked up people get over a simple list of publicly available information with no slanderous claims made. EDIT: Also, if you consider being in this list to...

    WTF PHP?

It appears to be a recurring issue. In other words, PHP has a very nasty (and inconsistent) implementation of member variables.

    WTF PHP?

See http://sprunge.us/CaQX?php. I can't even begin to understand how this is even possible.

Clearly, it's impossible for two different datacenters to exist, that share a name.

List of VPS/Dedi providers using Colo Crossing

Given ColoCrossings business practices and... "volatility", to put it nicely... it would not be unreasonable to avoid hosts whose physical hardware is located in their datacenters and/or racks. That'd just be risk mitigation.

List of VPS/Dedi providers using Colo Crossing

By taking services from ColoCrossing, you are lining their pockets, and thus contributing to their continued existence. I'm really not sure why you object to that being pointed out. This thread was about "providers using ColoCrossing", and you are a provider using ColoCrossing. Aside from that...

    Cloudflare free tier DDOS protection

I've only heard people say this in the context of "I've heard from a friend who was told by a friend of a friend...". I have yet to speak to anybody who has actually had this happen to themselves. I've gotten hit a lot in the past (on AnonNews), and I was never kicked out or even so much as...

Study finds that Bitcoin does not behave like a currency...

Citation needed. The primary reason I'm seeing for "currencies being designed the way they are", is benefit to some kind of centralized party somewhere. "Currency" isn't determined by volatility. That is actually not a problem inherent to Bitcoin. It's simply a consequence of the (right now)...

Improve the theme and the fonts on this forum?

Verify whether it looks like this image, or differently (make sure to click the image first, to open it in original resolution): There might be something 'off' with your font rendering settings (or the way your browser renders fonts). I personally find the above pretty easy to read, even if...

Study finds that Bitcoin does not behave like a currency...

That, however, has nothing to do with whether it is a currency or not, nor with its currency-related characteristics. EDIT: Additionally, hype is not a phenomenon exclusive to currency or speculation, and definitely not one that only has a few examples of it occurring. Hypes (resulting in...

Study finds that Bitcoin does not behave like a currency...

... where the word "currency" is redefined, to encompass the exact characteristics of traditional banking and government-issued money. Gosh, I wonder what the outcome of that would be! http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-12-23/bitcoin-more-speculative-than-real-currency-study-finds.html

I've got an array and I want to break it up into two files

Warning ahead: Bit-Pay (and CoinBase) do not have callback verification. You'll need to set a 'secret key' to verify that they are legitimate callbacks. I can't say I'm happy with the current state of the various Bitcoin payment gateways, security-wise...

    Self-Hosted Pastebin Alternatives

Be aware that zerobin (and 0bin) actually use AES-128, not AES-256. AES-128 is the default for the library used, and no custom key size is specified in the code of either of the two.

    Online Code Editor

If you are looking for just an editing component, have a look at http://ace.c9.io/. It's open-source, originates from a Mozilla project, and works really well by now. I suspect there will be an OwnCloud plugin for it, or similar. EDIT: Or you could, of course, just throw it into your own bit...
