    BurstNet acquired by DigiPlus

JW Ray is CEO of both companies... To me this sounds like they are simply trying to avoid lawsuits and customer complaints. They fail to mention he's the CEO of Burst as well, although we all know that its on purpose.

    DigitalOcean Planning UK Location

Personally I think they should focus on a few things before adding new locations: Stabilize network in existing locations. This included DDoS mitigation. Implement IPv6 across their locations. Add a location in the central US (ie Texas) or in the Southern Hemisphere. I think there are better...

    ARIN IPv6 Allocation for Free?

Now that we have our gear free and clear of ColoCrossing's network we plan to add IPv6 for our customers. I understand that ARIN offers IPv6 allocations at no cost to organizations that already have direct IPv4 allocations. My question is, to someone who has gotten a direct IPv6 allocation from...

Ocity Hosting LLC leaving ColoCrossing in Buffalo for Telehouse in New York City

Overall, it went fairly well. We were allowed inside the ColoCrossing datacenter and the technicians that were on-duty were very friendly and helpful.  We didn't really have much time to post this morning but we arrived pretty much exactly on schedule and had everything racked and plugged in...

Ocity Hosting LLC leaving ColoCrossing in Buffalo for Telehouse in New York City

Our team is in Buffalo. We have some time to kill so we went for a drive. I'm sure Buffalo had it's golden days but they are long gone. It seems that most of the city is available for lease.

ipxCore Left CC Buffalo and Should be over at Choopa shortly.

We have been inside the datacenter. We spent two days there when installing our gear. Other than having to wait for a tech to get onsite and let us in, its not a "bad" datacenter space, but we obviously didnt see everything, nor do we really care to.

ipxCore Left CC Buffalo and Should be over at Choopa shortly.

Not to take this thread off topic from ipxCore, but we have a ticket (and emails) from Jon B saying we will be allowed in to access our rack. Its unfortunate that ipxCore could not access their physical space directly.

    Burst.net Continues their Implosion!

The same people that own ColoCrossing's Buffalo facility? If they are moving into that facility, Centrilogic sure seems to be getting a powerful grip on some of the big budget providers.

    NY CC blowed away

In the base floor of the office tower the mall is attached to. Walk from the mall into the tower lobby and you're at CC's door.

    NY CC blowed away

Our network up there was offline for over an hour. This will be added to the list of reasons we are moving next weekend.

Monitoring (both inside/outside) - What Do You Use?

We use Observium (licensed version) for most of our internal stuff. We've also been testing PingMax for a developer friend of ours for simple uptime tracking so we have something to show [potential] clients.

Flappy Bird flying away in less then 24 hours.

If he was making $50k per day I see no reason to stop... On android the only source of revenue would be the ads on the game over screen.  High score: 25

Where do you buy your hardware from?

We do the bulk of our hardware purchases (usually when ordering more then a few of something) through SuperBiiz. They give us pretty good discounts, even on low volume orders. We recently received a DOA motherboard and our rep has been trying to make the process as easy as possible (gave us a...

    Game Hosting?

We have a branch that hosts Minecraft servers. We also have a number of dedicated server clients who rent E3-1200 series servers for VPS' targeted at gamers. The E3-1200 series CPUs seem to be very popular for Minecraft as well as other games, especially in high density setups such as the...
