The chances of our justified, ARIN-assigned IP space being 'yanked away' is slim to none.  My comment was directed towards the... provider.. that had the idea of signing up for some random v6 tunnelling service, issuing the IPs to their clients, and hoping for the best.

Easier on the eyes, mostly.  More pleasing to look at.

Considering how brutally dotVPS/easeVPS get tagged with DDoS, it's likely just a rebrand to get rid of the painted target from the dotVPS name.

ARIN can't actually touch the legacy IP space.  Otherwise they would've reclaimed a LOT of that by now. The aforementioned companies are already worth billions, and the turnover from leasing IPs isn't really enough to be of interest.  From the IBM/Lenovo perspective - "Would you rather deal...

How about an additional tag for providers known to sell to spammers and allow rampant abuse?  That way someone doesn't see one bad apple here, and assume all the other provides are as well.
