They're Kimsufi servers, the panel has no total data transfer usage. I already use Observium which provides me graphs but the totals displayed on the graphs are often slightly out with what ifconfig reports. vnstat looks to do the job I need, thank you.

I wouldn't colocate or rent a RPi, I can buy one myself for around £25. 32GB of storage ruins it for me, with one purchased outright at home I can attach any size HDD I wish.

With your current setup and backups you're very unlikely to lose anything.

RAID + Backups is your answer.

I'm just a bit more careful about where I store my TC volumes now. Used to replicate them across a few servers but am only storing them on servers if absolutely vital too.

I too would love to get into this again. I used to work for quite a reputable provider but left, even with that experience behind me it can be hard getting into anything.

Ah yes, will take a look at the scripts in there now. I had asked on the forum yesterday but was told only ping is checked.

Apparently Kimsufi don't use the OVH RTM tool, they only ping the server to check it's online. I can't see it running on my Kimsufi.

I use UptimeRobot and find it reliable. Other than that I use my own Observium installation but wouldn't really consider it reliable.
