What does scan.php do? If I recall correctly it scans the physical file directory for any files not added to the user directory via supported channels? It's tricky getting ownCloud to run on nginx anyway because of the amount of .htaccess code needed. Have you followed a specific tutorial or...

Well being in the UK we're kind of deprived of many close LEB offerings. In all seriousness though taking into account that the UK market isn't very attractive, Germany or France would make for ideal locations. Though if you're looking for niche markets, Ireland?

Consider whether you really need unlimited bandwidth. I've found in the past the providers offering unlimited bandwidth usually have slow servers. I guess they attract the disk heavy torrent market..
