SSL for webmail and cPanel logins?

If it's for yourself, there is no point. A signed SSL certificate is for trust, it doesn't make anything more secure, so as long as you're not annoyed by any of the invalid SSL warnings then it's just as good.

    PayPal Business US Verified Requirements

For me they did not ask for any documents of incorporation but instead verified the details of name, DOB etc. Granted this is a UK account though. I don't think they're that bothered. They have some sort of access to date of birth records, and it's all automated which is interesting.

Netherlands or Germany VPS (Accept sign up from Iran)

If you have a credit/debit card that works with Stripe (not sure since it's a USA based company), or have Bitcoins I can give you a deal. The UK (our company is based) does not have any trade sanctions with Iran as far as I'm aware. :-) What payment processors have you used in the past?

Please help me: VestaCP - Cannot get outgoing mail to work with an external client

When you say external clients don't work, do you mean that they won't connect through or they connect but don't return anything or return an error or what?

    The cesspit / chat thread.

Was just wondering, what do you people use as power supplies for your devices like raspberry pi etc.? I'd hate to have to plug into the wall or a computer all the time. The best I could come up with was use a drill battery (https://i.imgur.com/lLaf2hh.jpg). Don't really need to take it out...

    Eat, sleep, eat, sleep again

I'm so much into that routine, I can't respond to this thread... Although I prefer, eat, eat, eat and eat, and more eat.

    Proxmox IPv6 only?

Not really looked into proxmox, but surely you could just have a block of internal IPv4 and assign that instead for the v4 side and then have v6 as primary? NAT v4 will be harder ofc.

Query Foundry, LLC acquires Liquid Host

STFU. You try to act like you're a massive company, you're not. Alex didn't have a massive amount of clients, but he didn't have a small amount of clients either, I know because I worked with him a while back. I would probably even say he has more nodes than your real nodes (not slabbed ones).

New Way to Build a Computer

Sorry that was pants.. If you want to wreck a computer at least generate some proper carnage. Pop the components on a variac then the boards on an MOT or some big boys capacitors ;p.

    Openstack and WHMCS

Sucks, I noticed Sago was going to put it down the toilet. PM your way in a bit. ;-) On the topic, it seems really cool. Time put it to the test though, been waiting for this for a while, I like the fact that they have an open source version too. Definitely turned on by that. ;p

    FreeNAS

Never, ever. Wouldn't trust it on anything, they die very easy and that auto power-off is very annoying and the only way to bypass is a script to read write to the disk every so often which is stupid.

    Potential employer not mailing back

It really depends on the scale of the employer - if they're a tiny employer it may be they simply cannot afford to employ you, if it's a larger employer perhaps they just missed e-mails, it's happened to me a lot with big providers they get caught up with something else and just forget. I would...

    I made a website!

Me gusta, I like it. Fits together pretty well. Perhaps the bar before the footer could do with a bit of work, can't exactly say what needs to be done but it doesn't look complete imho. The website is slightly slow to load too, at around 7 seconds, might just be at my end.

How do you organize your pictures?

Oh, don't ask me for advice. Managed to loose pretty much all of my photos pre-2010. However you organise your photos, always keep backups as always with everything. Luckily for me my family are always insistent I show send them photos of everything so they'll always have a backup. ;-)
