ColoCrossing Makes List of Largest ARIN Free Pool IP Acquirers in 2013

Only have to provide information related to your last IP allocation from ARIN. Your older allocations are assumed to be no different than the information you provided for it when you applied for your new block (or at least very minimal changes in allocations assigned). They ask you to give a %...

ColoCrossing Makes List of Largest ARIN Free Pool IP Acquirers in 2013

Hosting providers do fall under the ISP guidelines, yes. End-user is totally different than what webhosts are providing.     Plenty of time to criticize posts relating to your "upstream" that you "share office space with", but not enough regarding your UGVPS company I see. Merry Christmas.

We'll likely never know eh. Maybe that is the new line, call yourself an investor? Who knows.

Yeah I know about the additional info (usually blocks /25 or larger, sometimes smaller depends on who is dealing with your ticket) wasn't sure about the rest.

"Justifying" is simply an excel doc with a list of names and subnets, as well as any further justification for larger allocations. Not sure if they actually verify if an IP is in use via pings or anything like that.

VPS Slabbing - Who Does it and Admits to It?

Migrating a "slab" wouldn't necessarily be any faster than doing a mass openvz migrate via a script that would migrate each and every VPS in an automated fashion (we upgraded about 200 clients/containers on Friday entirely automated) I'm not entirely sure how true this is. The limit can't be...

    LunaNode being booted from SingleHop

Spamhaus has always been good to us :) They'd forward a complaint we'd suspend and reply/use their typical forms.

    LunaNode being booted from SingleHop

If you're large enough to apply for an ARIN IP block, you really have ZERO reason not to do so. Almost every datacenter I can think of will announce IP space free of charge if you don't have your own switch/router with a BGP session. Most DC's likely charge for the BGP session if you go that...

    24khost, where are you?

Wasn't this an issue of "time" though? Nice that you magically acquire time to aid LE* shortly following your company closing.

UGVPS = Thomas Dale = Crystal Dale = ChicagoVPS = Dig the Mine

While I agree with what happened to Ash to an extent, he (mpkossen) literally made up his own rule based on his personal feelings towards the Ash situation, and when something similar pops up with cVPS, then a "rule doesn't exist" for that? What the..... i guess I should have seen that one...

Lottery is up to $550,000,000... what would you do if you won?

I'd buy out the Buffalo datacenter and watch it burn.

No SSD caching, and yes those drives. We are using 12 of them though :) (a full node is closer to the 300-350 ish range on performance). We're considering adding SSD caching to the nodes, but priority lies in upgrading all of our existing customers first.

The CC gang & shell companies

For someone who only worries about their own company, you sure seem to have a lot of time to bitch about people bitching about colocrossing. You don't HAVE to click the thread. Nobody is forcing you to read it.

SolveDDoS.com is another Chris Niedojadlo and ServerMania shell company

meanwhile my listing was removed when I was well past the 30 day window for "being too soon after my last offer" <-- mpkossen's words. He's also stated that providers won't be listed more than once in a 60 day period as the "queue is very long, anything more than that is too much" yet here we...

Stripe, get a clue. Your chargeback system sucks

I have said this a few times, but I'll say it again. This is an online discussion about primarily online businesses, not physical shops or any of that jazz. While your point stands relating to physical stores, it is irrelevant to the specific topic at hand. On another note, it's near impossible...

Stripe, get a clue. Your chargeback system sucks

You're comparing a physical product with a virtual product. Paypal is considered the "norm" in online transactions. Most people have a paypal account and/or deal with paypal on a regular basis. Not accepting Paypal in the lower-end hosting industry is comparable to only accepting cash payments...
