As George says, you can protect any subfolder with the regular SSL certificate. The wildcard SSL is for protecting any subdomain (and any directory of that subdomain too).

We cross-rsnapshot our servers to other servers in the same datacenter on a daily basis, then to an external site on a weekly basis. It's a bit heavy on disk i/o, but not *that* bad.  I keep looking at customer-driven incremental backup but can't justify the resources or cost for budget...

I don't see the advantage to this that spending $300 for a non-caching RAID 50/60 controller wouldn't offer redundant benefits on. I'd rather spend the $300 for the RAID controller and not have to do PR cleanup when an SSD dies and client data is lost and the client complains on a public venue...

We set all reverse DNS requests if proper forward DNS is set. Innocent til proven guilty and things like that, y'know?
