    Why you like VPSboard?

If you're under the age of 18 they give you a whole business as well.

    Seagate Drives

The problem with Seagate returns is...you get another Seagate. For home, I've been buying WD Black (5-year warranty) or WD Green for archive/storage/backup.

i want to provide $1 per year vps's

Wait...why would I want to pay $1/year to get a 32MB VPS from you when I can get a 64MB VPS for free from you?

i want to provide $1 per year vps's

It's to never be.  You never finish a single project that you announce here. Are you aware of this?

i want to provide $1 per year vps's

Will they be connecting to their VPS via your globe-spanning Wifi network?  How is that going by the way? Let me see...no, I don't see an SSID advertised in my neighborhood yet. Well, at the last, you'll own the vegan hosting market.

Child labor in the low end segment

I said: "'d guess 100% of the "child laborers" are kids who would not suffer any measurable hardship if they lost their jobs." So you are employing children whose standard of living would drop if they were fired? In other words, their families are relying on this income to sustain themselves...

What's your Windows text editor of choice?

    Is SublimeText really worth $70?

What's your Windows text editor of choice?

I've used Notepad++ for a while.  It's good though I wish it had (a) vi key bindings, and (b) used the standard Windows 7 file dialog (so I could go to Dropbox/SkyDrive/Google Drive/etc. with one click). I know there are vi clones for Windows...I keep meaning to check them out.  I like...

Child labor in the low end segment

I'd guess 100% of the "child laborers" are kids who would not suffer any measurable hardship if they lost their jobs.  They might lose their free Teamspeak VM but... I'd guess 100% of them would quit if the work become inconvenient. I'd guess a pretty big percentage of them would do the work...

RocketVPS migration from Reston, VA to Baltimore, MD

I guess this isn't surprising since KnownHost moved and they're the same company: http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=1349146

Technology based charities? Community powered charity auction?

One organization that I support is Free Geek: http://www.freegeek.org They are local (Portland, Oregon). People donate old computers and they refurbish them, put on a Linux OS, and distribute them to the poor. People can volunteer there and after you build 4 computers, you can keep the 5th...

Name one person in the "hosting industry" who recommends GoDaddy... Most people despise them.

GreenValueHost forced password reset - Security breach?

I'm thinking that perhaps I want to add a CSF rule for WHMCS...too many password reset requests from an IP in X time is a temp block.

GreenValueHost forced password reset - Security breach?

I'm horrified/amused that this site exists: http://www.gvhtalk.com  "Now that GreenValueHost has finally reached the point of stability inside and out..."

GreenValueHost forced password reset - Security breach?

I wonder if someone:   1. took a list of emails from some provider's previous leak (e.g., CVPS database) 2. wrote a script to request a password reset for each email from GVH 3. let it run endlessly   In which case it'd be easy for a competent admin to identify where all the resets are...

GreenValueHost forced password reset - Security breach?

Hmmm...I think having a dev instance is only allowed with a purchased WHMCS license (as opposed to leased).  I guess I wouldn't be surprised if GVH leases WHMCS.

My review about Knownhost VPS [Linux]

An excellent question. Maybe lc stands for L33t Coder.

    Domain Registrars?

Even at 99 cents, if you want whois privacy, GoDaddy is more expensive than Internet.BS (where whois privacy is free). I had really good support from Internet.BS the one time I needed it. I use them exclusively.
