Yeah. That depends mostly on the company's focus actually. If they don't want to support Renting unless they really have to, they'll have renting costs high whereas have co-location costs cheaper. If they don't want to deal with co-location as much and have a more "standardized" line without too...

I see no actual benefit from this.   They state utilizing Older outdated hardware longer would remove e-waste from the landfills and cut back on pollution (due to manufacturing costs).  However, I wonder if they've ever considered the pollution involved in obtaining these old outdated hardware...

Depends when you mean "own hosting servers". At Catalyst, we have our own hardware now and just a bunch of good stuff going on. Personally, I have colocated some of my own hardware as well as have a few rented. Most of the rented hardware are simply because they're old and I'd rather not have...

And... This shows the quality of individuals who were involved with GVH.  While being hired as a contractor to GVH he also takes the database and uses it for his own "project".   In addition, this reflects poorly on Johnnyboy because he obviously doesn't know how to select and find quality...
