    "The Interview" and Sony hacks.

You're not the only one who thinks Sony was lax on security, a class action lawsuit was filed in federal court on Monday by some Sony employees alleging the same thing. copy of the court filing: https://pdf.yt/d/efXwhLuA5fZWi6S7

VPS Request for a P2H Site?

You don't need to be a UK citizen or resident.  UK companies do need a registered office address in the UK, but if you use a service like CompaniesMadeSimple (the 115-117 St John St London address you see thousands of UK companies using) its about 50 GBP to register a company and get 1 yr of...

    "The Interview" and Sony hacks.

Ironic that hacking Sony would be considered an act of war when some of the Sony emails that were released by the hackers showed that the US State Department took an active part in the movie's development, particularly the assassination scene, and US officials were hoping the scene would...

VPS Request for a P2H Site?

Every friggin' cloud service and their mother has been handing out fistfuls of credits so it shouldn't be too hard to find one offering signup credits that will pay for a couple of months service.  Less. £15 if you register online directly through Companies House and the formation is usually...

Why don't you use CDN ? would you if it was free ?

CDN's inbreeding calculator confuses the hell out of me. On a more serious note, I do use this "free" global CDN with 93 pops that one of my providers offers It would depend on the quality of the free CDN network whether it was worth it for people to use.  I've seen some sites using cheap CDN...

Getting spammed LSN adverts by FraudRecord?

$20 is more than the monthly profit of the average summer host (or the current crop of "DDOS protected, RAID1" OVH resellers or the average underage host who isn't old enough to enter into a contract) so the number of providers using it would likely decrease substantially if he started...

Getting spammed LSN adverts by FraudRecord?

Based on the IP address the email was sent from and a traceroute (that shows vz----.wiredtree.com), it looks like FR is hosted on a VPS at WiredTree (WiredTree is the d/b/a name of Cogswell Enterprises Inc).

Getting spammed LSN adverts by FraudRecord?

2 years ago 24khost complained on LET about receiving an unsolicited sales email from them.  LSN responded by sending Chief a DMCA asking to have the copy of the email removed. http://lowendbox.com/blog/limestonenetworks-threatens-lowendtalk-with-dmca/...
