DDoS Filtering: CNServers VS Staminus VS BlackLotus VS CloudFlare

DDoS filtering is traditionally not 'cheap' territory due to the amount of bandwidth you usually need to dump on it -- so that'd be unlikely. As to options, there's always the likes of Javapipe and such, not exactly bad -- but not the best either. Our resident @kaniini from Tortoiselabs /...

Customers, what to do with them?

Aside from fostering douchebaggery, this also leaves you open to the risk of a chargeback after your goodwill. Do not do this, or you'll be screwed over pretty badly. Learned that one the hard way.

Robert Clarke DDoS'd Brings the Internet Down...

Avante/Centarra is actually not single homed as of a day or so, most of what hit him was taken up with Atrato -- Tinet only saw very little of it. That BGP graph of HE's is VERY slow updating.

AIOs are gigantic waste of time, unless you're really in need of space and can't afford enough to store a box.

Do you aware Asia Bandwidth Price Dropping

They have quite a few clients in JP, we ourselves were one when I was in Japan. Congestion at HKIX was rampant, if anything would even route that way from NRT. Though, yeah -- everything will get hot potatoe'd to LAX, but it works if that's exactly what you want.

    LunaNode being booted from SingleHop

I dunno, I took a new network online last August. They were initially trying to be very stern, but I explained our situation -- and verified that the client indeed got booted (This was ROKSO stuff, even), and they worked with me to remove us off the list. No bullshit, no nothing. But yeah...

How do you upload your files to your webserver?

Auto build/deploy solutions that pull the source from git, build (Or deploy, in case of interpreted languages) -- namely Atlassian bamboo. When you start developing things seriously, nothing much else really cuts it.

    Windows users

@Manndude, you can actually copy paste. Hit right click -> select mark, then select with the left button. Once done, just right click again. Whatever you selected is now on your clipboard. That said, I find the powershell (or, ISE) prompt to be far better, and more flexible. You should...

    Anyone using Laravel framework?

I've build some 20 odd projects using it so far. It does everything I've needed it to do, and does it without getting in the way. +1 to it.
