I wonder, does anyone try to keep stats of how IPv4 addresses space looks like? I.e., how many IPs are idle (unused for considerable time), wasted via allocating small blocks (since 2 IPs are reserved for every block allocated).

Confirming. It took 9 days to receive an initial response for rather simple question (with no anser in their knowkedge base). The initial response was rather absurd. Their Twitter accounts ignroes my questions, and all the forums are closed for registrations from my locations. This is OVH...

1. Restrict access by ssh to my IP only, disable access via all the other protocols/ports. 2. Create additional sudoer-type account 3. Allow if disallowed key-based authentication, make sure sudo works, dsiable root login and rstart the server. All the security hardening/whatever goes after that.

If anyone tests that server, just curious to know results. They do not offer it outside of EU, UK and USA. My own experience with extremely inexpensive dedicated servers is with Digicube.fr. A good experience.

I also vote for CDN77 and CloudFront. Note that CloudFront, if I am not mistaken, still can't set limits on traffic amount sent via CDN. The consequences can be dire.
