Might wanna recompile or patch that OpenSSL, buddy (4/7/2014)

Nice, looks like forward secrecy is supported with some browsers too. Not sure it that was enabled before. Just checking; the old certificate was revoked, right?

Might wanna recompile or patch that OpenSSL, buddy (4/7/2014)

Looking like it's still waiting on the certificate to be reissued. Any idea on when that will be done?

    SSL for VPSB?

I can't seem to find anything about Comcast specifically filtering SSL/TLS. Given that HTTP2.0 is looking to be encrypted by design, much like SPDY, it would be a fairly dumb move. Might be worth contacting them as XFS_Duke advises.

    Little project I'm starting

This is something I worked on a while ago (a text-based UI ran from the CLI), but is there really an interest in such a 'panel'? I basically wrote it for myself to manage email and adding virtual hosts to nginx on a low end server, but no longer use it.

    SSL for VPSB?

I'd like to throw my support in for SSL to be default/always on. From what I can tell HTTP/2.0 is going down this path, with plaintext connections having to use HTTP/1.1 for now.

(BETA TESTING) 256mb IPv6-only OpenVZ in Los Angeles for $1/month!

I disagree that nobody cares about IPv6, I just think it may not be the best time for an IPv6-only product. All my services are dual-stack and IPv6 enabled, and I recently moved a service as there was no IPv6 support. However, I wouldn't want an IPv6 only product either as things just aren't...

(BETA TESTING) 256mb IPv6-only OpenVZ in Los Angeles for $1/month!

Not sure what mirror the guy is using, but there are Dotdeb mirrors which support IPv6. The Sweden mirror claims to and US Borgnet mirror does, off the top of my head.

(BETA TESTING) 256mb IPv6-only OpenVZ in Los Angeles for $1/month!

It might be prudent to ensure your sites are IPv6 enabled if you're selling IPv6 only services. ipxcore.com and billingcp.us have no AAAA records, and thus aren't reachable by IPv6.  ;)

LiteSpeed vs. OpenLiteSpeed vs. nginx vs. Apache 2.2 vs. Apache 2.4!

It seems like an awful lot of effort to avoid giving people what they actually want. I understand you're afraid of canabalising sales of the Enterprise product, but crippling the open one isn't the right way to go about it. I for one can say I have no interest in using an intentionally...

Free Public DNS resolver list (public DNS servers)

Would people be interested in a free (maybe anycast?) resolver service? --Adam

    Uptime Monitor Features?

Right now I'm perfecting the backend and setting up pingboxes/nodes around the world. Let's say 1st Dec to be sure. It'll be more of a beta though. Not a fan of releasing alpha stuff, I like my stuff to work. --Adam

    BuyVM - Leaving Buffalo Early

Well, I'm much happier personally. My personal VPS with BuyVM are much better to UK/London. Looking forward to hearing the gossip/what happened. --Adam

    Uptime Monitor Features?

Thanks for the response, drmike. Yeah, I looked at NodePing and cloned much (if not all) functionality fairly quickly. The idea of the project I have engineered is absolute trust. It is based around a queuing system that checks from 5 different nodes/locations at a minimum, and will not notify...

    Uptime Monitor Features?

Hi all, What are people looking for in an uptime monitor? I've been working on an uptime monitor (among many things) and I'm looking as to what features people are really looking for. The project had a planned beta launch of later this month and full launch early next year, but let's not BS...
