    Any unique web hosts?

I feel insulted. We've been in the industry for about 8 years now. It takes a lot more than a control panel to stay afloat, let alone churn a profit worth making a living from.

    How do you "filter" orders?

MaxMind, FraudRecord and a little bit of common sense. If the order is of high value, we ask for ID as well.

(Free Trial) Xen VPS - Quad Xeon, 2GB RAM, 80GB HDD, 1000GB Traffic - €15/m ONLY

Yes, it is €15/m when pre paid quarterly. You do get the advertised VPS for €15 a month, but we expect potential customers to pay for at least 3 months in advance. The 50TB traffic is certainly an error. We are more than happy to offer it for free to all customers from VPSboard.com

How is it deceiving anyone when we have clearly mentioned it as "Discounted Quarterly Price"?

    Ubuntu Forums Hacked

Not everyone likes free, especially big businesses which are being harmed by small organizations doing 'free' stuff.

    OpenVPN autoinstaller

Doesn't OpenVPN offer an automated paid version (free for 1-2 users) already? If you need more number of users, its well worth the effort to learn a bit more about a security system than just rely on a 3rd party automated script, IMHO.

How to gauge the quality of a provider's network

IPs are not "assigned" to ASNs. They are "announced". Peer in OP's scenario really means upstream providers who have an active BGP session. Peer is usually a network that excahnges traffic for free (in a bilateral agreement). Transit is paid upstream traffic.

    Setting up IPTables rules

If you are starting out, use Webmin's GUI interface for configuring iptables. It's easy to use and you'll learn how it works as well. Then do as root: # service iptables save Open and read /etc/sysconfig/iptables (RH based Linux flavors)

Get your own /64 IPv6 network without the help of your provider

If you aren't close to the tunnelbroker's server, your latency might be massive.
