No monthly option, huh.
They used to also invoice you if you opened a ticket to submit a bug report. Rack911 tried to submit some security exploits that would let clients perform admin functions but when they tried to submit a ticket they were told they needed to register an account and pay the $$$ for their bug reports to be seen.

I think its a tad silly to suggest their EV is ruining your ability for the browser to function. My 13 inch MBP laptop screen currently only takes 50% of the width of my address bar.
You can always close the browser tab.
