I was wondering if anyone has any extra space that they could do cheap colo at. I'm debating between keeping my WSI server for 40/month or coloing a server with more power.

You can colo at Datashack and possibly WSI for non special rate of $45/month (Datashack).

In the past I've had no luck finding people with space rack space beneath the public ad rates at these facilities.

That's because unless they own the facility or at least cages, the prices aren't going to be competitive or worth the effort.
