First, need to work on page SEO, it include: -
  1. Title & Meta Description optimization
  2. Competitor Analysis
  3. Keyword Analysis
  4. External linking in content
  5. Heading & Sub-heading tags optimization
  6. Create quality content
  7. SEO friendly URL
  8. Anchor tags optimization
Then, off-page SEO include: -
  1. Social media marketing
  2. Backlinks from good quality sites

On-Page activities are mostly about technical SEO that is on your website that you can change. It includes Meta tags, keyword optimization, meta title, body content, image optimization, and other things too.
Whereas off-page activities are all about the backlinks that you made for the pages of your website. Keep in mind that you do not make spammy links or your website will affect badly. Check the spam score of third-party websites before posting any content for your website.
