Looking to rent low end dedi

Hey, I'm looking for someone who has a spare low spec dedi that I could pay to rent for 1 week or so.

I'll be using it to test Virtualizor, etc so I'll be using it to host a VPS or two. I'll need at least 2 IPs.

I have all of my personal dedicated servers in use so I can't really help you out there.  I have personally had good experience with Datashack's sales and support department so I'd suggest just shooting them an e-mail about this wouldn't hurt.  

Also, they do have stock on the Dual Opteron 2216, so I think it'd personally be perfect for this use.

Do you really need a hosted server at all?  Can you use a local workstation instead?

Can you finish in less than a week, and be ok in what might be another virtualization container?  Uptano.com rents dedis by the hour, e.g. about 3 bucks a day for a midrange (4 core 8gb) machine, not a great monthly rate but cheap for quick tests.

Hm wow.  This is fantastic!  Do you get actual root access to the server itself or is it just broken into OpenVZ VPSes to begin with?  That's what the website currently looks like it tells me, although you personally would get the server itself dedicated to you.

Check Datashack or WSI and similar brands. You will be able to get a descent server for a "lowend" price for the whole month.

It's not openvz.  It may be Xen or something like that.

Welp, Uptano & Hetzner robot doesn't really suit what I'm looking for. I might just contact Datashack, because I checked the Dual Opteron 2216 and based on it's monthly price I think if Datashack allows renting like this, it would hopefully be less than $9.

Too much of other things to pay for I can't really afford to buy one monthly yet.

Either way, I'm still waiting if anyone has a spare =]

What about an mks 2g from kimsufi.ie?  You really can't afford 9.99 euro?  online.net also has something like that.  (Hmm these things may only have one ipv4 address).

I believe though that you can request up to 2 or 3 fail-over IPs for free, but you have to ask for them one at a time.

Yeah the Kimsufi is good though it's kind of weak, but still good at it's price point.
