Migrating joomla 1.5 to 2.5

This was a pain to do becase of the many module incomptibilities I encountered, but this tutorial was the best I found. I recommend it to anyone migrating joomla 1.5 to 2.5 or 3.

I'm surprised people still use Joomla.  I thought that CMS was done for.

Joomla is far better than wordpress.


What I dont understand is why someome would upgrade j 1.5 to 2.5 when 2.5 os no longer supported.


Current version is 3.4.


@fixidix , how exactly you correlate WordPress and joomla to spam?
