I don't know why people would use Windows Azure other than if they have a lot of money.

So some people might need this, if you're one of them, here it is:

First: Navigate to your Portal in Windows Azure.

Second:

Click on the Add button

Next:

Just click Next when you're at this screen, lol

Next:

Select which port you want to Open, there's already a drop down, so I've selected HTTPS

Lastly just click on the tick button at the bottom!

I'm assuming you guys know how to port forward on the actual VM itself.

Several reasons:

- $150/month in free credits for any startup through BizSpark

- $150/month in free credits for any MSDN subscriber (many employers buy these for employees)

- some amount of monthly credit for DreamSpark (students)

In other words, MSFT giveaways are great :)  I run a couple Linux VMs there.

Not to mention that due to the way on how they work, you could use the same credits for hosting a shared site for a day if you really needed to. Or maybe for a couple of hours.

I know about the BizSpark thing, that's how I get my credits. And don't you only get 4 invites per admin acc?
