Asked this on the Solus Forum but thought I would get a wider audience here. 

1. Can I run a Solus Master no virtualization on a centos VM on my laptop running VMware Player for instance? As long as it has a public IP my billing software Client Exec or WHMCS should be able to pass orders to it for self provisioning, are there any performance concerns? 

2. Can the slave licenses be upgraded 2 to 5 then unlimited VPS supported without affecting the production traffic, or is a new VPS required? 

3. On my test server I installed Solus on a fresh copy of centos first as a master then as a slave without reformating or deleting past Solus information. Will this cause an issue?

Are you trying to run a hosting company from your laptop  :unsure:

You will experience issues when you sync ISO/Templates if you do it from solus, likely if your internet is not fast enough users will experience problems. If your laptop for some reason goes to sleep, people won't be able to access their VPS.

If you intend on selling hosting, I would suggest actually buying a VPS somewhere to host the SolusVM master (at least)
