What do you use your servers for?

IRC Bouncer, monitoring, hosting for minor projects, computational reasons (CFD), VPN, etc.

More and more of my processing power is being spent on CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) calculations.

Personal websites, file repository/backup, and I have one more new-ish one that I'm planning to use as a VPN so I can finally stream me some US Netflix.

SSH tunnels, SSHFS storage, logging / data mining scripts....

Obligatory web server, database...

Always hoping to do more, with less.  But with trustworthy and quality hosts.

I maintain a personal PBX server for my family to make free or very cheap VoIP calls - see tutorial in my signature.

(You may have seen my response at LET... Reposting it here.)

Bittorrent. Too much bittorrent

also irc bouncers so I can stay connected 24/7 to chat networks full of people whose opinions I actually don't care for.

sometimes for dicking around with technology du jour
I'm still working on that first one, but I've got the second two down pat.

Verified Provider
The coolest thing about being a provider is seeing all the projects, businesses, etc that people use their servers for.   (And of course helping them in suggesting solutions to meet their objectives.)
