OpticServers LTD goes live with owned Datacenter! Uk Based

See: Brian Krebs Blackhat See: NPT (Noob persistent threat) Summary: Hackforums kids are not important to law enforcement. law enforcement goes after child peddlers, people who hack financial institutions, etc. not some folks who can pay $5 to hit off a website via paypal.

OpticServers LTD goes live with owned Datacenter! Uk Based

I was doing some digging, and you're a spawn of a hackforums host. Sorry, but ads on hackforums lose my trust pretty quickly. Just my two cents.

    node.js & python

So, on this project here, I have a web-ui in node.js, now I want it so I can execute a python script and display the output of the python script on the web-page, any ideas?

    Windows License?

I don't believe so, however I'm pretty sure MSDN will give licenses out for it, and their other products assuming you have a MSDN license. If you tell me what exact windows version you want to install, I'll see if I have a un-used spare license sitting around. Otherwise, you could just since...

    Year of the cyber war?

I have fail2ban in place, however they just use a ton of proxies. Most of the IP's are based out of china, a few in brazil, united states, united kingdom

Python - safest way to handle user input

Well, it accepts input from a web form on the python script, then it creates a directory for the user-supplied input. So therefore I want to ensure it stays safe. I was going to do a regex just to accept A-Z 0-9 and a period. Would that be safe enough?

Python - safest way to handle user input

I'm looking for a safe way to handle user-input. Ie, the system asks for a domain name to generate a file, what would be the best way to ensure no sneaky things happen. IE it isn't malformed code being run.

    Year of the cyber war?

    That just made my day.

    Year of the cyber war?

Everyday. I just enjoy logging into  my server and seeing things like today's failed login count: "201 failed login attempts"

    Year of the cyber war?

These are my personal opinions. So, we've seen a ton of things, like LizardSquad launching denial of services, but what really peaked my interest today is when I was searching on twitter and found what appears to be a group / person named "Armed Antrax" released two banking credentials...

    LizardSquad

I can't wait till someone else attacks Microsoft/Sony, and then Kim Dotcom removes them all, making lizards cry. Additionally, Lizard's IRC is hosted on Darkode's servers, and their website is hosted in the UAE on Darkode's servers. Sp3cal1st the admin of DK bumps them up, for no apparent...

    LizardSquad

Krebs makes valid points - they're not even skids - it'd be insulting to call them skids. Skids can at least open the terminal and run a few commands, I prefer Krebs at his blackhat talk "the noob persistent threats" or NPT. Their stresser got hacked for copy & pasting vulnerable code - they...

    Thinking about not using paypal.

I don't know if this is relivent to you or not, but I seem to remember a project that I believe is still in the works, I forget whom is developing it, but it was a one-stop payment processor, so people would deposit money from items like Stripe, Bitcoin, Litecoin, etc. and it'd become all one...

Honestly, I think that nodejs would be the best for you then.

VPS Newbe looking for a server

What payment method you thinking about? I have some spare room on one of my servers, if you're paying via BTC, I'll whip up a VPS with these specs: 1 GB RAM, 100 GB Disk, 1 IPv4, IPv6 available on request, 100 mbit unmetered, located on a spare server in Germany. Price is $15 a month.

    Programming Language

So, because you stated PHP, I'm assuming you want more web-application focused languages or? Could you be specific on what you intend on doing? For example if you want to develop games well... C++/C If you want to develop websites well: PHP, nodejs, etc.

    LizardSquad

Yep, that's him. Also, I think the media just needs to have a actual technical expert whom can "translate" all the technical details, to something even the stupidest of people can understand. You know, sure the Lizard's managed to drop Microsoft, and PSN - however they were just using google...

    LizardSquad

I believe they're trying to act like hackers, but don't have any real skills. Denial of service isn't hacking, the media falsey reports them as "hackers" for being able to go to a "hacking" website and pay for a service to do it. Regardless, I don't believe law enforcement really cares. Vinnie...

    OpenVZ Command Blocking

DDoSing implies more than 1 machine doing the attack, therefore it's just dosing. He doesn't do any dosing that I'm aware of - regardless I'll keep a close eye on it. He just runs abuse, buggy scripts which hog a ton of memory and slow the server down.
