How bad do you think the Hynix FABs being shut off will effect everyone?

Memory pricing seems to be increasing with our hardware vendor... We'll see how long this increase continues.

Where do you think the best possible location for a VPS to be?

I'd prefer all vps nodes to be based out of San Jose, California.  :) All-kidding aside, Central US is good primarily because of low power costs and close proximity to the coasts. Acceptable speeds to most everywhere. If your customers are in Asia, west coast datacenters make sense. If your...

    East Coast DDOS Filtering

I'd say $4/ip since everyone loves a great price, but NYC is expensive, so $5/ip may be more sustainable should there be a lack of interest or need to wait for interest.

why manually approving reverse dns is a good idea

We do the same. Dealing with hundreds of abuse complaints after a spammer signs up sucks. We are looking at automatically granting automated rDNS for long-term customers, although I think many of these guys will email regardless because they've been trained to do so.

How to gauge the quality of a provider's network

Yes, Blacklotus is just for incoming DDOS. Auto-null is not a favorite for a few so Blacklotus gives them another option. Re-read your post. Cogent and HE together... That's something I'll have my Network team look at. Thanks again.

New here, am i allowed to ask for input/reviews of my service?

Very cool service. Once users graduate from the free service. they'll need something faster and more powerful and you can help them with that. I would suggest posting certain "projects" or "guides" to give some direction.

    Arin IP Information

As the other repliers have told you, yes, you can definitely change the swip/whois on /29 and larger allocations. Most providers use the reassign-simple template as do we, but customers that want more detailed info showing such as phone, fax, etc can ask their provider to use reassign-detail.
