http://www.datacentermap.com/usa/new-york/buffalo/ Well said! I'm sorry I wouldn't even be trusting my WHMCS install with a lowend provider nor within a OpenVZ container, security & privacy come into play with your billing system and taking extra measure will help out in the long one. Reseller...

[Industry Question] How Do You Pay Support Staff?

@MartinD - it is indeed over here! In regards to my response earlier, I wouldn't be paying someone £7+ a hour unless I had a very defined market and level of support which is required. More so for managed clients whom own there own businesses rather than most LEB host's who offer unmanaged...

[Industry Question] How Do You Pay Support Staff?

It would depend, if your outsourcing support tickets to a third-party rather than a real support worker, then per ticket you can expect around $2 - 5 this is due to the vast amount of people offering support services in india ( I swear they never sleep!) which has drastically taken the pricing...

    East Coast DDOS Filtering

If i am not wrong, then 100 William St was one of only a few that managed to stay up. As for Ubiquity's DDOS protection out of 100 William St, it is just AutoNull or mitigated to a certain extent from my understanding

Quick Packet - Dual Intel Xeon L5420 - Dell CS24-SC - Dedicated Server Review

I found a few L5520's on the HP chassis in Belgium going quite cheap. Other than that they're easily £300 + over here with the bare minimum.

    [Free 32IPs] E3-1270, 32GB RAM, 4x 1TB HDD, RAID - ONLY €140/m!

    • 50 TB traffic on 1 Gbps: 10 Euro/month   You can't complain about 10Euro for 50TB surely? But the title is misleading.

Virtualization Within Virtualization? Vmware -> OpenVZ?

Hi, Well I remember seeing the fiasco with some tom dick or a harry stating a provider was using this technique with their production servers, as I know  Vmware allows memory ballooning which shares the same memory between certain processes per VM which in effect could benefit over sellers...

Mine was custom built, 256MB RAM or less, Pentium 3.  I had a comodor 64 when I was younger, though i wasn't into computers much then.

    TailoredVPS hacked

I've seen them about a few places, probably more suggestion than advertising on the owners part.

    Live chat

It would depend on staff and the costs to run 24x7. I'd expect most LEB host's are not able to spend that little extra due to the very tight profit margins.
