Well, as the topic title says: how much bandwidth do you use per day? This is with regard to your own home usage, day to day surfing. Your personal usage at home. It's barely evening and this is what I've consumed by merely browsing: Quite, moderate! What's your usage?

Too bad about IRCd(s) not being permitted. I had my finger tips on the order button, but had to re-check the IRC policy...and it crushed my plans ;( But yeah, does seem very nice!

Vultr: 35$ DigitalOcean: 35$ SSD VPS: 7$ Dr.Server: 15$ BuyVM: 12$ (+ 60$ quarterly) RamNode: 4$ + cPanel licenses, CloudFlare, and other providers I cannot even remember right now (more VPS providers). But that's the ones from the top of my head...all dedicated servers notwithstanding ...

128MB ones, a few GB HDD space, whatever CPU speed...as they're likely to be for IRC anyway. But for other stuff, I will of course need beefier specs (1GB ram at least, 10GB HDD/SSD - et cetera). It really all depends on the application, of course.

Any mechanical keyboard from a solid company will do. I've got a pretty "lame" one, though. A CM Storm QuickFire. I needed one quickly and the store only carried that and something even worse, or only those crappy non-mechanical ones (I cannot stand them). Once you go mechanical you don't go...

I also got one. Ended up giving it away to my niece — perhaps I should have kept it...but when she saw it, well, I just could not refuse to give it to her  :) 

That’s what’s called a “non issue” and clearly something you have no clue about. Read up about it, all of it. Read what Francisco wrote about it on LET. At any rate, I doubt you will understand any of it anyway. Yikes..this guy is bad news for my blood pressure.

Well, I'm using the 'standard' Tox client from tox.im and it's very lightweight especially with respect of comparison with something like Skype, but functionality is ‘so-so’. It is very limited. The most annoying about it at the moment is the lack of “group chat” which is not even working, at...

Yes, one can write in such a manner. But when we know it's just you and when there's very little pretentiousness about any of it - other than to appear moar ‘legit’ in the eyes of the uninitiated (those ‘not in the know’ so to speak), it just becomes weird. I mean, it's just you, the company is...

ngIRCd? Then link it to my little network during the test. Just a thought ! :)

...for the most part I use Git to manage it all. Also, back it all up on several locations and also offsite backup in my house — for some 30+ VPS/servers (mostly VPSes). :)
