    Using OpenVPN with NAT IPv4

Is it possible the request to YT is going out over IPv6 from the VPS? I know YT supports IPv6, but the geolocation on IPv6 blocks is messed up because it's so new and huge.

Yes, but you are providing it to new clients, not just on request like me?

Indiana guys I found you a deal!

"The new and improved BetterVPS, now operating out of a real data shack - someone's shed in Indiana where I managed to tap power and 10Mb/s wireless Internet from their house."

    RobertClarke/Server Crate back ?

The fact of the matter is, no matter what Robert did or did not do, no one will trust him for a long, long time. If he gets sued (successfully or not), the trouble might teach him a lesson and make him a more respectable person, but that will be a while. He actually gave me a VPS to review...

Not sure if this is "industry news", unless someone is planning on using this to start a new datacenter?

ChicagoVPS / CVPS Hacked. New SolusVM exploit? [PT 2/2]

A while ago I was considering getting a 2GB for $7 OpenVZ w/ $10 cPanel "deal" from them. I am glad I did not.

    FAPVPS 2GB KVM

Good review, thanks for pointing out some of the quirks for prospective clients. Good to hear they're using a different panel, though there are drawbacks to whatever panel is used. The note about no mounting of ISOs is definitely worth keeping in mind.

Using mutt to send mail from a Gmail account...

Free Domain .nu for 1 Year

Sure, it works, but it took me time and money to set up my 5 nameservers, I want them to be used! Also reliability and failover and yada yada yada.

Just out of curiosity, are you provisioning tunneled IPv6 to all new NYC clients?

Free Domain .nu for 1 Year

Just heard back, and they have enabled changing the NS records, so now I can use the domain however I want. You can only set two nameservers though.

    [Poll] Signature Regulation (Unofficial Poll)

While I agree with you, I haven't seen that being an issue in any signature so far. And "immoral" seems a bit strong.

Free Domain .nu for 1 Year

Still haven't heard back from them on that one. Either support isn't very fast or they're taking their time evaluating my request.

Free Domain .nu for 1 Year

You can register it, but it seems you can't immediately change NS records to actually use it apart from their free website/hosting plan. From their FAQ: I've submitted a ticket to enable this feature, we'll see what I get.

    KVM BLOWOUT 512MB RAM $30/yr 1024MB RAM $6/month - Crissic Solutions, LLC

Everything now seems to be responding normally. HE recognizes the IPv6 block on AS19531.

Any VPS hosts that do not use Solus?

Letbox uses a custom panel called vPanel. ServerMania has a custom billing panel. FST Servers uses a custom panel, possibly for both billing and management. These are just a couple I came up with searching LEB for "custom panel". They are out there, but as has been mentioned you can't be sure...

Do you have a current backup of your servers?

I didn't vote because my answer is "kind of". The important ones are mostly backed up, though a lot of them have constantly changing data so it's hard to constantly keep up to date. I know I should set up a backup system and automate it, but I'm very lazy and I figure what I have is "good...
