Yep, well, they already exist, just not advertised at the mo. With all the housekeeping now sorted we'll be opening them up again over the next few weeks :)

NodeDeploy - [DE] KVM and OpenVZ Specials!

NodeDeploy* has been in business since early 2012 and is now part of the Xavvo Ltd family. Xavvo has been trading as a publically registered business since the summer of 2011. NodeDeploy are mostly known for KVM based VPS offers and this is no exception! As part of this acquisition we're going...

    NodeDeploy merges with Xavvo

I don't - anywhere. I just don't like people chiming in with information when they haven't got a clue. It's all high-end stuff in Glasgow and Edinburgh at the mo.. but hoping to get some public, lower-end Edinburgh/Glasgow stuff up soon :)

    The pets thread

This would be my best friend, Rocky. Sitting at the top of the stairs, as he does every night, waiting for me to go to bed: He's a 4.5 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier. The old 4ft tropical tank: Quite sad about this actually. When we moved house it became difficult to move the tank...

What happened to the TeraFire Refugee thread?

Just contact the provider directly. The thread was removed to avoid them suffering further problems :)

    NodeDeploy merges with Xavvo

I had been thinking about posting on here regarding this in case there was some massive outcry however, I'm really quite surprised at how well the news has been received... really happy, actually. I said everything I need to say in the email that was sent out and my follow up post on LET though...

    Experiences with vps.net?

It's essentially all the same thing in the grand scheme of things. It all starts with UK2 and Ditlev. OnApp is Ditlev's baby (new baby) after he left UK2. vps.net is part of UK2 so it'll be running on OnApp based on some kind of deal between them. I think, generally, Rus Foster is the issue...

How to set up your own distributed, redundant, and encrypted storage grid in a few easy steps

Sorry - didn't know they existed. I was talking to Joe yesterday about this and he linked to his post elsewhere. I suggested he posted it on VPSBoard too - he wasnt fussed so I simply C&P'd it from the source I was linked to. No harm intended!

How to set up your own distributed, redundant, and encrypted storage grid in a few easy steps

[i was looking for a solution that this seems to cater for so figured I'd post this here in case others wanted something similar. This has been reproduced with permission from Joepie91 (original author) under the WTFPL license.] If you have a few different VPSes, you'll most likely have a...

Hmm, So we have bad language here?

Indeed and so far, that hasn't been a problem with my kids.On the flip side, they are well aware of what 'sweary words' are and don't use them at all despite hearing me mouth off every so often when something is going wrong. Censorship is good, yes. Exposure is better.

Likewise. We do have first and last name locked though. Regardless, all changes are logged and archived too for the above reason mentioned by SkylarM.
