Currently trying a basket of these solutions.
Syncthing is on the list.
Have Seafile up and going and it's rather cool :) Little different and in place challenging - like good luck as-is mirroring say /home/yourdirectory in whole. My experience at least... But it works fine mirroring say...
As I said :)
"[not that I have any reservations with either company - both tend to run good operations]"
OP as-is is comparing vastly different things among hosting companies (in general) and little info regarding his actual needs.
The whole reseller thing has left me unimpressed so far. Tried others and not StraightTalk, yet.
Resellers talk good smack, but their terms are death if you actually read them.
Verizon's network here is sluggish, no, it's downright shit. Perhaps if I spring for a fancy new 4G phone and...
I too am AMAZED this hit the air.
The station looks pretty cool and rare. Has bios and headshots of the entire team at the stations, even the camera and board folks.
I'd say most of them inhale. It's Alaska afterall, what do you expect them to do? Ice fish and stare at Russia from their...
Thanks @raulb ... and thank you for the kind words.
This reminds of the abstraction of virtualization eons ago when I first started looking into such.
With Flockport if I per se take and create a new "container" for Wordpress, can I add other stuff into that container and have it be...
Managed VPS or managed Cpanel hosting? or Managed VPS with cPanel?
Expecting hand holding where people just do most things for you is overly optimistic. Managed hosting often claims to be such, but if it's not pedestrian stuff that the panel already does, they tend not to go there. [meaning...
Also I noted just now that Flockport works on cloud / VPS KVM.
Would be a good writeup and big toe dip if someone would create a how-to example of using Flockport in one of these popular environments like DigitalOcean or Vultr.

I had an even worse situation with the local incumbent monopoly telco.... They actually owed me ~ $100 due to wrong billing [billed me for services never rendered - after cancellation date]. I received a check in the mail for the refund months later......
The kicker, received nasty collection...
Very interesting plan.
Sadly have so many text messages [thousands a month] ... So that's a problem.... Still really interesting for other uses, just not the intended one.
Thanks much for the info. :)
16GB of RAM puts you at $40+.
SSD cache isn't happening in this price range.
Datashack + Wholesale Internet have some of these specs but @ 8GB of RAM @ around $29/mo.
Was wondering if anyone in these parts is a current happy T-Mobile customer in the USA?
Considering their $80 a month unlimited plan [other carriers pricing leaves a lot to be desired and the cheap stuff over Sprint's network is dialup-like for data].
Anyone on this plan currently...
Obviously, I'd say to watch Dacentec:
https://billing.dacentec.com/hostbill/index.php?/cart/
Inventory right now is the 5420's and 5520's but they have other RTOs and are known for such. SSD's and addons are in the cart.
