I don't want to finger-gun-bang any provider :)  Trying to avoid that sort of thang cause as we know the rescue cheerleaders show up for most providers and say how wonderful everything is for them. But, the provider killed my mom.  "OH NO, he's a saint or waiting for sainthood".

A directory that is searchable and sortable by price, features, etc. that is needed.  Probably something out there already, but low visibility.

Well, just one persons opinion here @Shovenose.   The LEN + CC, if they are/have been one in the same, that is problematic.  Why?  Because they go out of their way to cover up such.  The ad account comes to mind :)  Look at who is on worst behavior and who gets banned for saying what.  ...

Traceroutes are fine/normal.  Routes are what one would expect and hop latency is as expected.  Network, yeah, the provider is on Colocrapping's network, but the issue isn't the network.

I voted for up and down voting.  That is if we even have reputation ratings at all.   Voting systems, my opinion can be destructive to users and moral at times. 

Location is Chicago. Issue with the container is non stop.  Been this way for several months, minus the one time the provider actually did something and made it work right for < 1 week.

I am a fan of mellow, soulfoul music during the dark of night.  Daytime, indeed more upbeat tunes.  Although, lately, I've been listening to plenty of spoken word, news, shows, podcasts.

Using a provider in the States who I have issues with.  It's an annual plan, so until the year does us part, I am trying to get use out of what was paid for, Getting always speed cap of 120KB/s throughput.  Day, night, weekends, etc.   Sometimes it goes lower, but returns to this horrible...

Some good musical tastes on here.  Surprised. Neil Young is a cool fellow.  Like his very old stuff. Bluegrass = great stuff.  I like Americana with real story telling. Just turned down a local jazz station from a city far away :)  

Coastercraze has the right idea.  2nd tier market would be nice too :)  Some great in-between places out there with low latency and rich provider mix.

Sorry @Nick, I see the offers category. Exclusive offers are asking a lot of work from a host.  All the setup in their billing system and writing a new ad. The blog format is well, tired.  I rather dislike that approach.  Offer threads should be fine that accept comments.  Let providers submit...

Noticed the new host problem on LEB and  I see the same old tired offers, same handful of locations/datacenters.    Quality has been lacking on LEB for a while. We need an offers section on here :)

Hardware RAID costs, especially for these fancy cards many providers tout in their sales BS. Software RAID fine for most folks, especially for your own PC. Provider land, that's hardware RAID no doubt.

What sites are you using to find low price VPS and other data offers?   Looking for new options, different providers and even non US sites.

I remember the Alex scandal Nick.   I call that a shamelesshost :(  Fail to see how colocrossing justifies taking in all the ad dollars.  I mean they host the site at most on a $100-200 dedicated server.  Makes no sense unless they've owned the site for much longer than the community realizes...

Has it been confirmed that Joel the kite sailing fool has lifted anchor and offloaded the site?  Know the hosting company of the site was all mixed up in the money - with the ad account going to their employee, oddly. Seems really odd that the big mouth provider in Buffalo who sells the Chicago...
