We have constructed additional Pylons (BuyVM Upgrades)

Aldryic is the billing manager but I'm still the owner so cash comes to me :) WU is for countries that don't have easy access to paypal (usually Philippines, etc). There's no reason for Aldryic to be picking up the payments since he'd have to then go through the trouble of adding it to his bank...

Call them? Whenever I needed nullroutes/network adjustments I always had great luck with their phone-in support. Francisco

Expectations in regards to ticket reply

I agree. Getting BS replies of 'yes we have picked up your ticket' does me no good if I need something fixed up. Granted, getting a solid reply right away is excellent too ;) Francisco

Always possible but I don't see many users wanting to pay with WU :) The problem isn't so much WU, it's getting me to actually go down to do pickups. I get fairly 'Ugh I hate doign this' when it comes to WU. The fees are nasty. Customer wants to pay for a $15/y VPS? It'll cost them $25/y...

Yep. Didn't you know? Cont has 4 *billion* servers to assign /64's to. Or 65,000 clients to assign /48's to :D Francisco

We have constructed additional Pylons (BuyVM Upgrades)

We used to accept western union but I always felt it was a pain in the butt since I had to take an hour+ out of my day to go cash things. Even if I didn't have to walk to the nearest WU office, I almost always have to wait at least 20 minutes to get through everything. When we did Frantech we...

He can drink as hard as the others, don't worry about that :) He'll introduce himself, but he's one of my best buds.

Hah! Don't be so mean. We have hired another support worker, he'll start next month. We'll be dropping the 'unmanaged' tag and change it to 'semi-managed' since we spend a lot of time helping people as it is. Francsico

What happened? :( Sell to a spammer by accident and get screwed by cleanup fees? Heavy fraud? If you can't say so be it, just it seems it was a publicly said thing Francisco

What smartphone do you guys use?

I have a Samsung Note version 1. It's a good phone but I'm looking to replace it. Samsung doesn't support it with newer roms and CyanogenMod doesn't play all that nicely with it either. I get quite a few crashes (purple screen + reboot) as well as the screen tripping out randomly. I'm looking...

    [VPSDime] - 6GB Memory / 30GB Space / 2TB Traffic / OpenVZ in Incero (Dallas, TX) for $7/month

That was a forkbomb, it doesn't rape CPU, it just tries to make itself unkillable by constantly spawning processes. Francisco

I'm being STOLEN FROM! (not really - what is reasonable kvm steal %)

Of an E3? A little bit. It's really not an option. To fix the issue we'd have to start breaking shins far more often or start adding more nodes. We start adding more nodes and we gotta burn more power anyways. I'd rather use the dual hex cores since I can safely add bigger plans w/o concern...

FBI spreading backdoor software via 4chan kid material

Said skid GET flooded some of our domains but it was dealt with easily enough. We run lig pretty ... light... on resources so it was easy to max PHP out. If they were hitting anything with 20gig I wouldn't know. Alas i'm fairly sure Curtis has something mentally wrong with him. One day he's...

We have constructed additional Pylons (BuyVM Upgrades)

All of it :P I'll be in Vegas sometime next month to handle it with one of our techs, Matt. If we needed 384GB+ RAM or things like that in the nodes? Then E5's would be the way to go; but we don't. We're keeping the nodes at more or less the same load out of VM's which means everyone...

Some nodes don't need the swap but we'd rather have everything the same. Besides, with these nodes we can finally offer bigger plans :) Francisco

The E3's are nice but there simply isn't enough cores to make it worth it to us. The L5639's are slower Mhz wise but you'll likely get a far more consistent speed since there's no contention. I could go to E5's but if you check geekbench you'll see that the difference is maybe 10 - 15%. Francisco
