Hello forum, For anyone customers out there, do you value a backup service for your VPS solutions? I'm considering offering weekly backups that are retained for up to a months time. Please share your thoughts on if you believe this would be useful etc. Best Regards, Joshua

I just took a peek at a few of the lists. There are some rather unique ones in there ... among the thousands of others that are ... not so unique. I'd suggest using the Excel "find" tool to located specific words etc.

Definitely go with SSD's. A lot of people seem to have doubt about drive failure, if anything these server grade SSD's prove to be a lot more reliable than HDD's.

We automate backups with SolusVM, it keeps the VPS online and backs up to another server using vzdump.

Check out VersaWeb's clearance servers. If it's solely for backups then I'm sure you wouldn't be too focused on CPU etc. They have a server for $49 that comes with a 500gb hard drive, you can just add my hard drives on in the configurable options however.

If Google's payment service isn't discontinued then it could be a great contender to PayPal. Unfortunately it has been confirmed that it will end in March. I still utilize PayPal for the only reason that if I didn't I would lose a lot of business (majority of it). 

Would you also be able to offer SMS verification as a cheaper alternative to calling?

I utilize mine as a media streaming server. A great alternative to Google Chromecast!
