  I have a dumb question. I did some reading when a provider advertise they have 8 available cpus but really they list there cpu they use on there server like a xeon e3-1240 for example. Really the cpu has 4 cores and 8 threads. Can you count threads as cpus? I always thought that the threads...

I see your point. Its a big mess but there main priority is get the nodes up then try to work off the tickets. So that is probably y ppl are getting canned responses. It just takes time. It could take weeks to get it all worked out, but I'm no expert.

I like to throw this out there, all the griping about canned responses. How would you respond if you had 2000 ppl saying the same thing? The exact same way. I wish everyone the best of luck.  The lesson is to back up your own data. Peace out

@loghash check your spam folder. If not try pm'ing the provider here or on let. Might want to login in the client area if your a client to check the status of the ticket.

I'm personally tired of seeing these I want a free vps thread. We all work hard to pay for our own things. If your younger hey ask your parents for an allowance. Don't get me wrong free is better but sometimes you have to work for what you want.

  Check out freevps.us. Humm if you can afford 1 usd dollar ipxcore has a 96meg plan. I haven't had no problems with them at all. Really I don't think anyone is just going to give you a free vps.
