    Which OS will you support

You have a love for Gentoo?  Why?   I used it a long time ago.  That thing needs to burn.

    Which OS will you support

Debian.   My reasoning behind this is that from all the operating systems I've used, *BSD, RHEL-Based OS, SUSE-based OS, etc. I've seen Debian be one of the easiest and straight-forward server OS to work with.  I wouldn't pick Ubuntu because I feel that Ubuntu is overcluttered and at times just...

    Secret Forum Section?

Hey There! I'd like to request a clarification on why such a place is required?   More detail would be appreciated especially since right now it's just "I want this to happen" with no real explanation as to why you want it.   Thanks!

    Yearly LEB w/ IPv6 LAX

Yeah... as a person who is currently in Asia. LA to Asia is crap/a lie.  I'm behind a "business grade network" and... well...  It definitely sucks.  Internally (within the country) the network is awesome, full Gbit and everything.  But once your traffic takes a step (or... I guess just leaves?)...

Restricting Multiple VMs to a Single Access Point

In addition to what Aldryic said I'd suggest you just use a VPN in that case as dynamic IPs are... well... a pain to deal with sometimes.  Although have a few other backups in place just in case you lose access to that specific VPN and such.   Great post Aldryic C'boas!

    Favorite / Best SSH Gateway?

Or you can use a VPN.  Although if your VPN goes down or it gets compromised then you'll have some fun trying to get back into it all.

    Personal Pet Peeves

You're ok in my books.  Proceed. Totally unrelated I actually visited UK (and by visited i mean road tripped down there to visit our brothers there) when it was their homecoming game a few years back.  Found Qdoba that did late night breakfast (seriously a drunken midnight Qdoba breakfast...

Remote DLNA server? Who is running such?

I'm not too sure if this is exactly what you're looking for but here: http://www.serviio.org/download I was thinking why not just install that on a local server (at home) and have it rsync the contents from a VPS?   I've never used it before but I think it's worth the watch.

    How are you handling backups?

If I recall KuJoe does ridiculous amounts of backups (three layers deep) of each server.  I know several who maintain backups (including ourselves) for worst-case-scenario disasters.  RamNode had an issue recently where their nodes were compromised and most of them were trashed (requiring a...

So... Ohio State?  I hate Buckeyes too.  They're the worst school in the Big 10.   I kid (to those who are Buckeyes fans).   You sound like a TA or a Professor.

See...  This I don't agree with.  I mean even in corporate businesses most of the time when you send out an important email requesting someone to do something (and if they can't immediately complete the task) the other individual responses to let you know that they received it and are working on...

Hey there! This is a friendly Public Service Announcement (aka a reminder) to our community members on something you all might have overlooked (I blanked about it until now when I was going through my settings again).   In your account settings you have the ability to be notified when someone...

    Electronics

So... um.... what are they?  I never had one of those before.  But I did have a breadboard with wires, light bulbs, resistors, batteries, clock, etc.  Made a stop light system a long time ago.
