I'm from Monterey, California but currently living in Dearborn, MI, right outside Detroit.

123systems - Issues and not responding to ticket.

Sounds like they haven't touched the setup since they launched? Andrew's been in business since 2010 as far as I know.

GreenValueHost tells their non high paying clients to GTFO

I don't mean to pick nits but what kind of "Code of Ethics" prefers terminating clients opposed to offering them an upgrade? You could even give them a discount to compensate for the deprecation of your legacy plans and platform. Was there any real reason you needed to ditch them so rapidly?

Fix the apt-get install error: “Media change: please insert the disc labeled ...” on Debian

Just curious - what provider leaves the cdrom entry in their package manager's sources list?!

Market Research - KVM Pricepoint. What would YOU want to pay?

Every day we crowdsourcin'. Serious question though: Why so much disk space for your 512MB? The ideal price point for a "budget" 512 should be around $8-12 depending on the other available resources as well as the physical location. Any standard (non promo) pricing lower than that just screams...

Uruguay new location, interesting? not? why? We love your feedback !

If IPs from the datacenter are that expensive why not appeal to LACNIC for address space? They still have approximately 3 /8 blocks left so now's the time...

So, I guess we run a charity now.

The sad part is this is a somewhat common occurrence in #frantech <_< Skids like to come in and aren't expecting to have to deal with Pony.

    Good resources for learning PHP?

Might be construed as irrelevant to the question, but I'd suggest straying away from PHP. The core design of the language is severely flawed and despite their recent move to resolve some of these problems, what makes PHP PHP is also what makes PHP bad. The effort required to write "good" PHP...

anyNode Detroit KVM LAUNCH - 50% OFF!

I think the biggest security feature of the DC is that its on the second floor of the building and there's no freight elevator :P In all seriousness though, the facility is gated off and has three access control doors between the outside world and the DC. The cabinets are all locking and aren't...

    Your computer uptime?

I made the brilliant decision to pack my motherboard in checked luggage on a flight. Long story short, I'm lucky to get 8 hours on my current desktop at home :(

At the moment we only support PayPal, and if absolutely necessary I can manually run CCs. I was under the impression Moneybookers shut down anyway? They changed names to 'Skrill' and apparently they support US accounts now. I may look into this if there's additional demand.
